Why We Founded FCOP

People are often confused when they hear that we founded the First Church Of Pantheism. A common response is:

"If you're not making any money out of this, why are you doing it!?"

That reaction is the exact reason why FCOP is needed.

So many people have the "what's in it for me?" attitude. That's why so many people today are hungry, sick, depressed, and in need of help. We have forgotten that we all have common origins. Whether by god, chance, or a big bang, we are all 'one' in some way, and are 'all in this together'.

FCOP is a non-profit organisation. We are all trying to make a difference in this world, and none of us profits financially for our efforts. In fact, it personally costs those involved much time and money, especially as 100% of donations go to charity. Not 70%, not 90%, not even 95%. We give 100%.

FCOP members see that there is more to life than self-interest and making money. We believe that the achievement of wealth should be merely an objective, part of much grander and nobler goals. We think that those fortunate enough to be advantaged, should pay it forward.

A paradigm shift is coming. We are working towards a future where all living beings can simply live.
